C.A. WIlliams Blog Tour for Chaotic

1.  Where did you get your inspiration and ideas for your current book Chaotic? I guess I can blame it on being pregnant! Right now, as weird as it sounds, most of my ideas are coming from my crazy dreams. And out of those crazy, weird dreams, comes a few ideas here and there that are a little bit sane.

2.  Do you have a favorite place to write? Normally, I’m writing to the chorus of my two little guys at home. Every once in awhile, I’ll get a little bit of peace in my bedroom for writing after they’re asleep.

3.  What movies or television programs do you enjoy watching and might inspire your current or future projects? I watch a pretty broad range of t.v.. I love all of the different singing competitions, The Voice being my favorite. Vampire Diaries would probably be one of my favorites overall, and I used to love reading paranormal, but I’m not sure if I would ever do that genre of writing.

4.  Are you a planner in your writing with outlines and character maps or do you write more free style? Before I start writing, I always feel like I need to have a cover and then I start on a details list for all of the characters, the setting, and different places that are included in the books. Then I go from there.

5. Beverage of choice?  Coffee, wine, soda? Definately wine, but I don’t think my doctor would approve of that right now!

Adelaide McGregor was spinning out of control, in a world of pain that no one knew anything about. She put up a front, displaying a picture perfect girl that everyone wanted to be, but no one was truly there for her. Then she was sent away to live near her grandparents due to bad behavior when her mother decided she just didn't want to deal with her any longer. Without a penny to her name and nowhere else to go, her life was uprooted to North Carolina. Everything seems to be changing for the better with her fresh new start until she meets a guy who flips her world upside down all over again. Sometimes you have to make it through the struggles of imperfection in life for everything to come out as complete perfection, but Della hasn't quite learned that lesson yet.

THE ARRANGEMENT SERIES 1-6 H.M. WARD

I am having a love hate relationship with this series.  I have had it on my Kindle for awhile and thought I'd treat myself to a large diet pepsi and a lawn chair in the front yard for mother's day.  I was hooked from the start.  Which is why I loved it.  The main character, Avery is strong yet flawed.  The basic story is similar to many in this genre but I don't care I still love the flawed characters that are trying to make it through tough spots and come out the other side.  Avery fights harder than many main characters and although she tends to be pulled in and pushes back in every segmant I still am fighting for her to just be happy.  In order to make it through school Avery is given an opportunity to become a call girl.  Her personal struggle with whether she can do it or not and whether she will come out the other side a better person for her sacrifices is touched on continuously.  Which I liked because when I am given hard choices my mind goes back and forht just like hers.  Although my decisions are not whether or not I 'm going to be a prostatute. I love Sean, and for some reason I was really glad his name was Sean.  There have been the strangest names in some of the book I read and Sean seems so strong.  Like he's going to make it because of his name.  Anyway I liked how his character developed, even if he's a bit screwed up.  Now to the hate part of my review.  And I think hate is a strong word but I have read a few books by this author and I enjoy her writing so it isn't personal.  It;s the idea of a book being segmanted into little books.  I hate getting sucked in and then having to pay for each section.  As well as....and this is the worst....the series isn't done and that's okay because you buy it in sections.  Since it's in sections it's perfectly okay to have a published unfinished series which as a reader is torture!  So yeah for a great bunch of mini novellas and boo for keeping me waiting.

Real by Katy Evans

I have to say that the review on Amazon for this book was so cute that I had to read it.  The person who wrote the review was spot on when she said Remington Tate was her new crush and she wanted to have book babies with him.  I love that!  And I also added him to my list of crushes.  I wanted to crawl up into hom and cuddle!  Remington is a boxer in an Underground boxing circut.  In the beginning of the book I seriously thought I was ready Beautiful Disaster again and was kind of irritated that someone stole the story but then it turned into it's own great story.  Brooke is the MC and she was an track star with Olympic dreams but she blew out her ankle and had to find a different direction.  Turning to Sports Medicine she is looking for a training position.  In comes Remington.  He is a hot! And the author repeats the reasons why he is hot numerous times throughout the book.  Ends up Remington is bipolar and this takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride through thier relationship and his highs and lows.  I loved this book and the characters.  It even got me into the gym so I could have an hour of uninterrupted reading time.  Finished the book in two days.  Only because they insisted i get some work done today, otherwise I would have finished in one day.  Can't wait to read more.

The Best Man

The Best Man by Ana Blaze

I loved the blurb I read about this book and was very excited to get it on my Kindle and hit the gym to read it.  So after work I headed off to the treadmill and after my three miles I was so into it I hoped on the stationary bike and finished it off.  Needless to say this is a quick read.  The writing flows smoothly and seamlessly making time fly.  I enjoyed Beth's uptight controlling attitude and Colin's deep affection for her.  My favorite part of the book was the beginning scenes when they run into eachother at his brothers wedding and he is drunk.  His drunken rants and poetry are very funny.  The book doesn't delve deeply into why they are the way they are or what past issues they may be carrying around but it is a fun and light read and with summer coming it is a definite recommendation to slip into your beach bag and head out to catch some rays!
